The position interacts with multiple client departments including Leasing, Legal, Development and Management as well as Tenants, Base Building Contractors and various consultants.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Act as a Retail Project Owner’s representative to coordinate with the Tenant, Leasing, Legal, Marketing & Project Teams. It may be possible that the position will handle several retail projects simultaneously using internal management software systems.
• Attend regular team meetings to ensure awareness of all team members of all the aspects of the project.
• Maintain Tenant Coordination reports to provide current status of all projects.
• Communicate with Project Team and Tenant Team to ensure successful tenant coordination efforts and effective completion of Project Owner and Tenant construction work.
• Maintain project documentation including, but not limited to, the shell building Construction Documents, Tenant Design Criteria, Contractor Rules & Regulations, Tenants lease work exhibits.
• Good judgment in performing technical plan reviews of architectural, MEP and signage drawings, providing comments to resolve design/construction issues preferred.
• Participate in the project close-out process, prepare final letters and compile close-out documentation to the client’s satisfaction.
• Permanent role will be fulfilled as both an office-based and site-based Retail Delivery Manager. Office based position may be fulfilled in one of our regional offices, while site-based field tenant coordination may require temporary relocation to the project location for defined periods leading to the project’s Grand Opening.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum two – four years Retail Delivery Manager and/or project management / design / construction experience required.
• Client service focus
• Degree in architecture, design, construction, or engineering preferred, and related field or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and clearly understand construction documents.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills. Must be self-motivated but team-dedicated, have strong prioritization & organizational skills and use initiative
• Excellent computer skills proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. General knowledge of general drafting and Microsoft Project is a plus.
